Our team member Søren Carlsberg Larsen win the Danish Champignonship in poker, showing that not only do he has great skills in Backgammon but also in Poker, a great congratulation from all his team mates.

2-2 away against Nemo

Yet another draw in last weeks match against Nemo and we are still 2nd in the division. We had the chance of winning the match but unfortunately Per took a bad beat loosing a doubled gammon at the score 15-13 against Henrik Løber. Bentler lost to Mads Andersen.

Marianne won easily over Jens Lauritzen and Hansen won a very exciting match againt Thomas Jespersen. Hansen still undefeated in this season with a 5-0 record !!

2-2 against Force Majeure

Last week we played 2-2 against Force Majeure. Hansen wins his 4th match in a row and Carlsberg gave us the second point. Weile and Per lost their matches - a little dissapointing and at the same time Nemo won 4-0 away against Hitmen.

This means that we are no longer no. #1 but are trailing Nemo by 1 point. This week this can all change when we meet Nemo in a super exciting battle for 1st place. We hope to repeat our result from last season which we won 3-1 !

2-2 against Play65

Last night we played Play65 in the 4th round of the Elite Division.

Marianne lost 16-17 to Mik Larsen

Weile lost 15-17 to Karsten Bredahl

Bølge won 17-15 against Claes Noreen

Bentler won 17-15 against Casper Brandenborg

Bølge came back from trailing 2-12 and 4-15, but on the other hand both Marianne and Weile lost their matches thou having solid leads. Bentler had a close match and was ahead all the until 14-15.

Soireé is still leading the division after 4 rounds !!

No match this week

This week we are not scheduled to play in the division. However Hansen and Bentler is playing the Champions League Doubles match on saturday @ 10:00 on Park Café against Play65 team - Mik Larsen and Casper Brandenborg. Spectators are ofcourse more than welcome to join :-)

Swedish Open

Michael Hansen is the only player from Soireé participating in The Swedish Open in Stockholm this weekend.

We will ofcourse be ready with more news when he takes home the trophy....

Is Café Fokus a fortress ?

Yesterday we played our match no. 3 in the 2009/2010 season against Hitmen from Helsingør. Playing at home we had organized with Hitmen to meet early for some food and drinks. The lineup: Michael Hansen - Carsten Lindkvist Karsten Bølge - Nicolai Skov Frederik Bentler - Erik Gravgaard Freddie Noer - Ulrich Thorngaard Soireé Dansante takes home another 4-0 victory on their homefield, Café Fokus !!

Great season premiere.

Yesterday the team tournement started for this season, and we where facing Team Ladbrokes, which is one of the top team and a clear competitor for this year champignonship. However our Captain made a great choice setting the team, and by being the first to win he set the standard for the team. So the first match of the season ended with a 4 - 0 victory and thereby we are already leading the tournement from day one, outstanding.
